Cross in small cemetary, top of hill, near Hayden,Ala.

"Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.” Romans 5:1-5 (NIV)

Thanks for sharing this verse! Hope in Christ...what a wonderful thing! :) ~Rhonda

Oh, and I love the toggle jacket you featured below from Land's End! That would make great Christmas gift for my mom! I love Land's End, too! My children have to wear school monogrammed school uniforms strictly from LE. They seem a little costly, but last forever!!! Even on a 9 year old boy! lol! My daughter wore the same khaki's for two years. You can't wear them out! :) Thanks for sharing! ~Rhonda :)

Sure, I'd love to do a linky. You get it started (since I don't know how to do it!) :) and I will link up and then spread the word from my blog too. Good idea!

~ Humility ~

Humility is perpetual quietness of heart.
It is to have no trouble.
It is never to be fretted or vexed, irritable or sore,
To wonder at nothing that is done to me,
to feel nothing done against me.
It is to be at rest when nobody praises me,
And when I am blamed or despised;
it is to have a blessed home in myself
where I can go in and shut the door
and kneel to my Father
in secret and be at peace,
as in a deep sea of calmness, when all
around and about is trouble.
