Fall Pretties and a Menu

Photobucket

I'm a little late to the game, but here's the menu for the week:

MONDAY: Chicken burgers with green beans and mashed potatoes
TUESDAY: tacos
WEDNESDAY: Shrimp Chicken Skillet served over a bed of rice
THURSDAY: Beef Stroganoff - this recipe looks delicious!
FRIDAY: Pizza or leftovers - it's date night

Last week, I made the Fiesta Chicken and by far, my hubby said that was the best thing I have made in a while. It was a hit! If your family likes Mexican food this is a great dish to prepare - really yummy!

Here are some more fall pics from around my home. These are in my dining room. Enjoy!

Thrown together from my fall stash, but I like how it turned out.

I love this table centerpiece and make it every year. I use a favorite item of mine to hold all of the leaves, pumpkins, gourds, pine cones and corn - my long, rectangular copper tray. It's definitely fall around here!

Another shot of the white pumpkin on the little antique table - simple, but pretty.

Loving all your fall decor! FYI...went to Michael's today and all fall foliage is 50% off. Don't know if you have a Michael's there or not. By the way, what time is dinner? :)

Hi,
Your menu sounds yummy! Maybe I should post mine. Wonder if I would stick with it??

I love all your fall decor. The white pumpkin with the berries is very classy.

~ Humility ~

Humility is perpetual quietness of heart.
It is to have no trouble.
It is never to be fretted or vexed, irritable or sore,
To wonder at nothing that is done to me,
to feel nothing done against me.
It is to be at rest when nobody praises me,
And when I am blamed or despised;
it is to have a blessed home in myself
where I can go in and shut the door
and kneel to my Father
in secret and be at peace,
as in a deep sea of calmness, when all
around and about is trouble.
