Meet Sarah Jane Wright

"Peek into the world of a child, and you will be amazed what you can see." Sarah Jane

I was introduced recently to sarahjanestudios on etsy.com. If you have never viewed any of her fantastic creations, I urge you to run on over and "meet" this talented gal. Her illustrations are gorgeous and most of it just happens to be about my favorite subject - children. She truly has a passion for childhood, and says that her line was "born out of my love of children as well as my love of vintage illustration and the themes they entail." To get a glimpse into Sarah Jane's world as a work-at-home mom, you can read more about her at Utah Valley Magazine. What an inspiration!

"Breakfast Bunny"

"Curl in the Middle of Her Forehead"

"The Three Bears Revisited"
This one is probably my favorite. I have a "thing" for chairs!

"Summer Tea Party"

Do you have a favorite? I'd love to know!

I had never seen her work, but it is adorable. I was SO excited to see Kit's play house in Dallas, but what a bummer that I spent 2 hours in the store and my girls weren't even with me. Just wasn't the same.

She has such beautiful work.
This song reminds me of Sheye Rosemeyer's blog - I have a link on my sidebar and she also enjoys this artist.
If you've never read her blog you should check it out - very moving.

~ Humility ~

Humility is perpetual quietness of heart.
It is to have no trouble.
It is never to be fretted or vexed, irritable or sore,
To wonder at nothing that is done to me,
to feel nothing done against me.
It is to be at rest when nobody praises me,
And when I am blamed or despised;
it is to have a blessed home in myself
where I can go in and shut the door
and kneel to my Father
in secret and be at peace,
as in a deep sea of calmness, when all
around and about is trouble.
